Our easy transfer method makes stitching very easy, and it means you can reuse your pattern as many times as you want, and on any fabric you want. If you have never stitched sashiko before, don't worry. We have included instructions in the every pattern, plus you can see step by step photographs by clicking on the How to sashiko stitch in the side menu.
NEW: June 25, 2010 I am adding the materials list for our online sashiko tutorial today. This is an absolute beginner tutorial, but will be enjoyable for any skill level. This tutorial will walk you through making an 11 x 17 inch sashiko stitched project called dragon fly over diamond waves. The tutorial is free. The starting date is July 14, 2010.
